• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member O'DonnelMtroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -70 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PEDDLER LICENSE <br />WHEREAS, Michael J. McAlpin, president of Direct Exteriors, Inc., has submitted a <br />peddler's license application to the city clerk's office; and <br />WHEREAS, Direct Exteriors, Inc. has complied with the provisions of Ordinance No. <br />01 -89 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license for a for - profit <br />business; and <br />WHEREAS, the city has conducted a background check on all company <br />representatives who would be soliciting in the city; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />Direct Exteriors, Inc. is hereby authorized to solicit construction services door to door for <br />a period of six - months beginning July 15, 2008 subject to all conditions and provisions <br />of said ordinance. <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of July, 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />is ' ne Bartell, Ci y�k <br />Kat allup, Acting Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />O'Donnell, Stoltz, Reinert, Gallup <br />The following voted against same: <br />none (Absent - Bergeson) <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
