Council Member <br />adoption: Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -72 <br />APPROVING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS ACQUISITION <br />LAKE DRIVE /35W INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. <br />(PIN 17- 31 -22 -24 -0012) <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in the best interests of the traveling public <br />to reconstruct the interchange at I -35W and County State Aid Highway 23 (Lake Drive); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the improvements consisting of constructing bridge, roadway, pedestrian <br />facilities and utilities are herein determined necessary to provide for the improved safety <br />and mobility of the traveling public; and <br />WHEREAS, said requirements necessitated impacts to the flood plain of Anoka County <br />Judicial Ditch 10- 22 -32, and <br />WHEREAS, the impacts required that compensatory storage be provided within the <br />vicinity of the proposed impacts; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified the necessary easements to provide such <br />compensatory storage, attached hereto as Exhibit "A "; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has reached agreement for direct purchase of a permanent <br />drainage and utility easement and temporary construction easement with the owners of <br />property described in Exhibit A. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the direct purchase of the permanent drainage easement and temporary <br />construction easement is hereby approved in the amount of $9,957.00 <br />Juli. ne Bartell, <br />y Clerk <br />K thi Gallu •�� cting ayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this l4"d day of July, 2008. <br />
