• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08-73 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES <br />FOR SEPTEMBER 9, 2008 PRIMARY & <br />NOVEMBER 4, 2008 GENERAL ELECTION <br />the Lino Lakes City Council met at its regularly scheduled meeting <br />of August 11, 2008; and <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 2, election judges <br />and a head election judge for each precinct shall be appointed by <br />the governing body of the municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 1, a list of eligible <br />voters was prepared. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the named persons on the <br />attached list of eligible voters are hereby appointed to serve as election judges <br />and head election judges for the 2008 Primary Election and the 2008 General <br />Election if called upon to do so. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of August, <br />2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />Julie artell, C ty <br />Joh B geson, Y ayor <br />Adopted by t e Lino Lakes City Council this 11th day of August, 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />Stoltz, Gallup, O'Donnell, <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Reinert, <br />Bergeson <br />
