• <br />Council Member Gallup introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -99 <br />Approving the Centennial School District Contract for Youth Resource <br />Officer <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes and the Centennial School District wish to <br />participate in a Youth Resource Officer Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Both the City and the School District agree that a more formalized <br />approach to the Youth Resource Officer Program is needed to improve <br />understanding and promote mutual respect between police, school, staff, <br />counselors, parents and students; and <br />WHEREAS, The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth in writing the terms <br />and conditions of the mutual duties and obligations and to create, fund and <br />implement the position of Youth Resource Officer; <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members, <br />do hereby approve the Centennial School District Contract for Youth Resource <br />Officer. <br />• <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of September, 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member O' Donned upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />Gallup, O'Donnell, Reinert, Stoltz, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
