Council Member Stoltz introduced the followig resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO 08 -102 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM THE <br />FRIENDS OF THE PARK FOUNDATION <br />WHEREAS, The Friends of the Lino Lakes Parks Foundation was established in 1992 to <br />provide the structure through which residents, neighborhoods, and friends of the City of Lino <br />Lakes may channel donations, bequests, and other gifts of financial aid to enhance the city's <br />parks and recreational programs; and <br />WHEREAS, Earlier this year, The Friends of the Lino Lakes Parks Foundation dissolved; and <br />WHEREAS, The Friends of the Lino Lakes Parks Foundation Board has generously donated <br />$10,052.70 to the City of Lino Lakes for future parks and trails projects. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation from The Friends of the Lino Lakes Parks Foundation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of September, 2008. <br />Jul' : nne Bartelli Cit Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Stoltz, Gallup, O'Donnell, Bergeson, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />• <br />
