• <br />• <br />Council Member Stoltz <br />adoption: <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08-110 <br />APPOINTING ADDITIONAL ELECTION JUDGES <br />FOR THE NOVEMBER 4, 2008 <br />GENERAL ELECTION <br />the Lino Lakes City Council met at its regularly scheduled meeting of <br />September 22, 2008; and <br />due to the expected high voter turnout, additional election judges are <br />needed for the November 4, 2008 General Election; and <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 2, election judges shall be <br />appointed by the governing body of the municipality; and <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 1, a list of eligible voters <br />was prepared for approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the named persons on the attached list <br />of eligible voters are hereby appointed to serve as election judges for the 2008 General <br />Election if called upon to do so. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 22nd day of September, 2008. <br />ATTEST: <br />u i =, Bartell, C y Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Stoltz, Gallup, Reinert,O'Donnell, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />• Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
