Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -119 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM CECELIA WOODRICH FOR THE <br />LINO LAKES POLICE EXPLORERS. <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Explorers train to compete in State and National <br />competitions against other Explorer Posts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Explorers volunteer their time and services to the <br />Lino Lakes community and surrounding communities throughout the year; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Cecilia Woodrich donated a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver <br />valued at $244 to be used to by the Explorers to the State and National <br />competitions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members, do <br />hereby accept the donation of a revolver valued at $244 and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to Cecilia Woodrich for the donation. <br />Ju ' Bartell, ity erk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of October, 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Reinert, Stoltz, Gallup, O'Donnell, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
