Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: October 27, 2008 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 08 -126, Adopting Assessments, <br />2008 Individual Property Which Requested <br />Connection to City Utilities (510 Birch Street). <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Assessments for Individual Properties which requested connection to City utilities <br />• was adopted at the October 13, 2008 City Council meeting, since that time City Staff <br />have received an additional request to connect to city utilities from the property owner of <br />510 Birch Street. The property is currently connected to the City's sanitary sewer system <br />and is now requesting connection to the water system. <br />• <br />The property owner has submitted a signed waiver, which waives their rights to a hearing <br />and waives their rights to appeal under the Lino Lake City Charter and/or Minnesota <br />Statute 429 provided that the assessment associated with the improvement is levied <br />against their property, or they have entered into a Performance Contract with the City. <br />We are prepared to adopt the assessment for the following individual property, which <br />requested connection to city utilities: <br />- 510 Birch Street — Residential <br />Attached is a breakdown of the individual property assessments. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve Resolution No. 08 -126, Adopting Assessments, 2008 Individual Properties <br />Which Requested Connection to City Utilities (510 Birch Street). <br />
