O'Donnell <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -36 <br />Approving the Centennial School District Contract for Youth Resource Officer <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the Centennial School District wish to participate in <br />a Youth Resource Officer Program; and <br />WHEREAS, both the City and the School District agree that a more formalized approach to <br />the Youth Resource Officer Program is needed to improve understanding and promote <br />mutual respect between police, school, staff, counselors, parents and students; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this Agreement is to set forth in writing the terms and <br />conditions of the mutual duties and obligations and to create, fund and implement the <br />position of Youth Resource Officer; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes Cou <br />the Centennial School District Contract for a Youth <br />• <br />• <br />Juli= Bartell, ¢ity lerk <br />source <br />icer. <br />by approves <br />Jeff Rei e , ayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of March, 2011. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />MemberRoeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />O'Donnell, Roeser, Rafferty, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />None (Absent - Gallup) <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
