or <br />• <br />Council Member O' Donnell introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -52 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT <br />OTTER LAKE ROAD AND UTILITY EXTENSION <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to; 1) construct sanitary sewer along the north side of Main <br />Street (CSAH 14) from Elmcrest Avenue to Otter Lake Road'; and 2) improve Otter Lake <br />Road between the Main Street (CSAH 14) and a point approximately 1,320 feet north by <br />roadway, pedestrian /bicycle trail, storm water management, sanitary sewer, water main, <br />landscaping and traffic control signal improvements and to assess the benefited <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota <br />statutes, chapter 429, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to evaluate the entire future corridor of Otter Lake Road <br />from Main Street to its intersection with Elmcrest, approximately one mile north of Main <br />Street (CSAH 14), for planning purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement, called the Otter Lake Road and Utility Extension <br />Project be referred to TKDA, City Engineer, for study and that that person is instructed <br />to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary <br />way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible; <br />whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a <br />description of the methodology used to calc - -'vidual a - -ments for affected <br />parcels. <br />A EST: <br />Jali nne Bartell, Cit Cle <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of May 2011. <br />Jeff Reinert, a or <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: O'Donnell, Roeser, Rafferty, Gallup, Reinert <br />
