• <br />Council MemberGailup introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -57 <br />APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR A TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE, <br />CABARET LICENSE AND LAWFUL GAMBLING PERMIT FOR THE ANNUAL <br />FESTIVAL AT ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH <br />WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has made application for a temporary <br />on -sale liquor license, a cabaret license and an exemption for lawful gambling <br />permit for their annual Summer Festival to be held August 13th and 14th; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the applications submitted for festival events <br />(temporary on -sale liquor, exempt gambling and cabaret) for concurrence with <br />city regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a <br />background investigation of the applicants; and <br />• WHEREAS, St. Joseph's Catholic Church has paid the required license; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the City Council hereby approves a temporary on -sale liquor license, a <br />cabaret license and an application for exemption for gambling permit for the 2011 <br />St. Joseph's Catholic Church Summer Festival. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this _ <br />th <br />of e, 2011. <br />M <br />J•li- ne Bartell, <br />Jeff Re' e , Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Gallup, Roeser, Rafferty, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />• The following voted against same: <br />none <br />
