Council Member (7.a > > „p <br />moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -73 <br />APPROVING LIABILITY INSURANCE AND WAIVER OF FEES <br />FOR CERTAIN BLUE HERONS DAYS EVENTS <br />WHEREAS, the Blue Heron Days Committee ( "The Committee ") and Lino Lakes <br />Ambassador Program have requested the City provide liability insurance <br />coverage for the Blue Heron Days parade, the Quad Area Chamber Business <br />Expo and Lino Lakes Ambassador coronation; and <br />WHEREAS, these activities are not excluded activities under the City's current <br />liability insurance and are covered without any additional cost to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has annually provided a waiver of event <br />application fees for the Parade /Run and Event application and the services of the <br />Police Reserve as in -kind participation in the community festival. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes that the provision of Liability Insurance for Certain Blue Heron D <br />Events, provision of Police Reserves and the waiver . -es is .: • . oved. <br />A. <br />nne Bartell, ity C er <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th day of July, 2011. <br />Jeff Rein- rt, / ayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />Gallup, Roeser, Rafferty, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />The following voted against same none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted <br />
