• <br />Council Member Roeser <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11- 74 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT FOR ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONS. <br />Whereas, new electrical installations for most construction, remodeling, <br />replacement or repair must be inspected for compliance with state Electrical Code <br />standards; and <br />Whereas, prior to July 1, 2011 the State of Minnesota provided electrical permits <br />and inspections in accordance with code requirements; and <br />Whereas, no inspections are being completed by the state until the Department <br />of Labor and Industry is funded for the 2011 fiscal year by legislative enactment of a <br />state budget; and <br />• Whereas, to avoid construction project delays the City Council has adopted an <br />emergency ordinance to provide for electrical permits and inspections <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />Hereby approves the execution of a professional service agreement between the <br />City and Dave Kichler Inspections and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute <br />the agreement on behalf of the City pending final review by the City Attorney. <br />Jeff Rein -rt, Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11 day of July2011. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Rafferty and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Roeser, Rafferty, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />
