• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-16 <br />RESOLUTION TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY FROM REHBEIN COMPANIES FOR <br />LAKE DRIVE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, a parcel within the City of Lino Lakes (the "City ") listed as: <br />That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, which lies southerly of the southerly right -of -way line of the <br />northeast ramp of Interstate Highway 35W -390, and lying northerly of the following <br />described line: <br />Beginning at a point on the easterly right -of -way line of Trunk Highway No. 8 and 66 feet <br />southerly from the southerly right -of way line of the Northeast Ramp of Interstate <br />Highway 35W -390 (said 66 feet measured at right angles from said southerly right -of- <br />way line): thence North 81 degrees 39 minutes 10 seconds East (assumed bearing) on a <br />line 66 feet from and parallel to said southerly right -of -way line and its' easterly <br />extension to the east line of said Northwest Quarter and there terminating; <br />is required by the City of Lino Lakes for the completion of Lake Drive Improvements associated <br />with Legacy at Woods Edge; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parcel will be used as right -of -way for the realignment of the northbound I -35W <br />ramp; and <br />WHEREAS, the sellers have agreed to sell the land to the City for $1.75 per sq. ft for a total of <br />$32,741.00. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />Staff and City Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to take any and all actions <br />necessary or convenient to acquire the parcel and affect the intent of this resolution. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of February, 2005. <br />John Ber son, ayor <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />
