City Council <br />JPA Anoka County <br />February 28, 2005 <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -17 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />WITH COUNTY OF ANOKA FOR THE <br />I -35E CORRIDOR AUAR <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.59, authorizes political subdivisions to <br />enter into Joint Powers Agreements, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the County of Anoka desire to work together in <br />addressing transportation issues within the context of an Alternative Urban Areawide <br />Review (AUAR) for the I -35E Corridor; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and County agree that it is in their best interest that the cost of <br />transportation issues of said AUAR be shared; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. that the City Council hereby approves the Joint Powers Agreement with the <br />County of Anoka for the I -35E Corridor AUAR and authorizes the Mayor and City <br />Clerk to execute said Agreement on behalf of the city. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of February, 2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />• <br />Ann Blair, C Clerk <br />• <br />J.
