• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 6B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Mary Alice Divine <br />DATE: 5/23/05 <br />TOPIC: <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 05 -69 Approving <br />Classification of Tax Forfeited Property with notice to <br />obtain the property <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Anoka County has notified the city that a parcel of property (see map) in Lino <br />Lakes has tax forfeited to the State of Minnesota. This resolution notifies the <br />county that the city wishes to withhold the property from public sale because it is <br />unbuildable, is used as a part of the city's drainage system, and provides access <br />for drainage maintenance. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Adopt Resolution No. 05 -69 approving the classification of the tax forfeited <br />parcel with notice to obtain the parcel. <br />2. Do not notify the county the city wishes to obtain the parcel for public <br />purposes. <br />3. Return to staff for further consideration <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option 1 <br />
