CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -77 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC <br />HEARING — SHENANDOAH AREA STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions of the Council adopted March 28, 2005, a study has <br />been prepared by the City Engineer, with reference to Shenandoah Area Street <br />Improvement project for Rice Court from Totem Trail to cul -de -sac, Hokah Court from <br />Hokah Drive to cul -de -sac, Hokah Drive from Totem Trail to Birch Street, Totem Trail <br />from Arrowhead Drive to Birch Street, Arrowhead Drive from Ware Road to 550 feet <br />East of Totem Trail by constructing street, storm sewer, watermain, and this report was <br />received by the Council on June 13, 2005, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost - effective, and feasible, <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota States, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 of <br />the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City Engineer is designated as the engineer for this improvement and he is <br />directed to call for a public hearing for the Shenandoah Area Street Improvement <br />project. <br />2. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost <br />of the improvement of $1,820,787.50. <br />3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11th day of <br />July, 2005 in the Council chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m. and the clerk shall <br />give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by <br />law. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of June, 2005. <br />Joh J.
