CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -86 <br />APPROVING NEW CINGULAR WIRELESS PCS, LLC <br />ANTENNA LEASE AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC has expressed an interest in locating <br />the installation of antenna facilities on the city's monopole located at 1189 Main <br />Street; and <br />WHEREAS, Cingular Wireless is proposing to lease space for the installation of a <br />240 square foot base station at the base of the monopole. In addition, three <br />sectors of up to four panel antennas each will be placed on the tower; and <br />WHEREAS, The proposed agreement provides for an initial option fee of $700.00 <br />for a one year period with another $700.00 option fee for an additional year. <br />Should Cingular Wireless exercise the option to locate their antenna facilities at <br />1189 Main Street, the initial term of five years will consist of an annual rate of <br />$19,260.00; and <br />WHEREAS, The agreement provides for automatic renewals of four additional <br />five -year terms, each with a 7 1/2 percent annual rent increase of the previous <br />term's annual rent. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes, Minnesota, that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, on <br />behalf of the City, an agreement between the City and Cingular Wireless PCS, <br />LLC for the installation of antenna facilities on the city's monopole located at <br />1189 Main Street. <br />Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of June 2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />Ann BI a Fd City Clerk <br />-30- <br />
