Studenski, City Engineer
COUNCIL MEETING DATE: July 11, 2005
TOPIC: Resolution No. 05 -92, Designating No Parking on Main Street
(CSAH 14) Reconstruction.
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple majority
BACKGROUND:
The No Parking designation area is for Main Street from I -35E to Elmcrest
Avenue. State Aid requires a minimum 36 -foot wide street to allow parking on
the Main Street Reconstruction project. Currently, parking is mostly non - existent
on Main Street. Adopt Resolution 05 -92, Approving No Parking Resolution on Main Street.
2. Return to staff for further review.
RECOMMENDATION:
Option No. 1 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 05 -92 be adopted.
