• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -100 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A <br />PUBLIC HEARING — LOIS LANE UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions of the Council adopted May 23, 2005, a <br />study has been prepared by the City Engineer for Lois Lane by constructing <br />street, storm sewer, sanitary sewer,and watermain, and this report was received <br />by the Council on July 25, 2005, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />project is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible, <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a <br />portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota States, Chapter <br />429, and Chapter 8 of the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The City Engineer is designated as the engineer for this improvement and he <br />is directed to call for a public hearing for the Lois Lane Utility Improvement <br />Project. <br />2. The Council will consider the improvement of such street and utilities in <br />accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or <br />a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429 at an estimated total construction cost of the improvement of <br />$325,000.00. <br />3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 22nd day <br />of August, 2005 in the Council chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m. and the <br />clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement <br />as required by law. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 25th day of July, 2005. <br />• Ann EI ir, City Clerk <br />John.
