• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -113 <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ACQUIRE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR UTILITY <br />PURPOSES <br />COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 14/8 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County and Washington County are proposing the <br />reconstruct CSAH 14 (Main Street) in Anoka County and CSAH 8 (Frenchman <br />Road) in Washington County; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has trunk sanitary sewer and water main <br />utilities located within the intersection of CSAH 14 and Otter Lake Road; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to extend said utilities northerly <br />to provide service to properties Tying north of CSAH 14 and to avoid disturbance <br />of the reconstructed roadway from future utility extensions in conjunction with the <br />CSAH 14/8 improvement project; and <br />WHEREAS, a permanent easements over certain land is required to provide for <br />said construction, and <br />WHEREAS, Lino Lakes has authority to acquire permanent easements for said <br />improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Authorizes the acquisition of a permanent utility easement in the amount of <br />$13,920.00 for the purpose of extending trunk sanitary sewer and water main <br />utilities in conjunction with the CSAH 14/8 improvement project. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of August, 2005. <br />Ann Blair, fy Clerk <br />Joh J.
