• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -128 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR EXEMPT PERMIT <br />TO CONDUCT GUN RAFFLE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute, Section 349 requires non - profit organizations to be <br />licensed by the Charitable Gambling Control Board, and <br />WHEREAS, PACE (Paper, Allied - Industrial, Chemical & Energy) International Union <br />#7 -0264 has acquired said license, and <br />WHEREAS, PACE has submitted an exempt permit application to hold its annual gun <br />raffle in conjunction with its annual golf tournament at Chomonix Golf Course, 646 <br />Sandpiper Drive, on September 17, 2005, and <br />WHEREAS, PACE has met the requirements and is eligible to conduct gambling in the <br />City, <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve or deny this application, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />approves the exempt permit application, with no waiting period. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13thrd day of September, 2005 <br />ATTEST: <br />Jean <br />, Deputy City erk <br />
