Council Member gGl-Y-150Y1 <br />• <br />• <br />and moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 - 192 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM WAL -MART TO DEFRAY EXPENSES <br />ASSOCIATED WITH THE FUNERAL EXPENSES OF THE IN THE LINE OF DUTY <br />DEATH OF OFFICER SHAWN SILVERA <br />WHEREAS, Wal -Mart annually awards a Neighborhood Heroes Grant to <br />a Public Safety entity who demonstrates exemplary <br />performance within the community; <br />WHEREAS, the grant was given on behalf of Officer Shawn Silvera <br />who gave his life in the line of duty protecting others <br />from harm; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Police Revenue $2000.00 <br />(101- 420 - 4330 -000 Travel & Tuition) <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council <br />members, do hereby accept the Neighborhood Heroes Grant in the <br />amount of $2,000 to defray the costs associated with the in the <br />line of duty death of Officer Shawn Silvera. <br />i.nne Ba to 1, City Clerk <br />Beryeso , Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of December, <br />2005. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member -- If and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />• Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
