Council Member Ieeinert introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />• adoption: <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -61 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT - 2006 OVERLAY PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of 2006 Overlay <br />Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />W B Miller Inc. $ 142,775.20 <br />Universal Enterprises of Mid MN, Inc. $ 146,660.33 <br />Midwest Asphalt Corp. $ 154,926.12 <br />Northwest Asphalt, Inc. $ 158,839.90 <br />North Valley, Inc. $ 162,468.30 <br />Hardrives Inc. $ 164,364.04 <br />T A Schifsky & Sons Inc. $ 188,772.66 <br />Engineer's Estimate $ 159,612.50 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that W B Miller, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with W B Miller, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the <br />2006 Overlay Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
