• <br />• <br />Council Membercarison introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -123 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM TARGET FOR SUPPLIES <br />ASSOCIATED WITH NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2006 <br />WHEREAS, Target provides grants to organizations who sponsor National Night Out <br />events; and <br />WHEREAS, Target supports the efforts of community events such as National Night <br />Out and wishes to partner with Lino Lakes Police Department to help <br />strengthen families and the communities we serve; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department provides support, promotes <br />neighborhood spirit and police- community partnerships to neighborhoods <br />throughout the city who participate in National Night Out; and <br />WHEREAS, Target has approved a grant in the amount of $400.00 to the city in their <br />support of National Night Out in this community; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue — Contributions 101 - 3720 -000 $400.00 <br />Increase Police Expenditure <br />(101- 420 - 4214 -000 Crime Prevention) <br />$400.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council members, do <br />hereby accept the grant of $400.00 and wishes to express its gratitude to Target for the <br />donation. <br />u i Bartell, C <br />Bergeson, Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of August, 2006. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />Carlson, Stoltz, O'Donnell, Reinert, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />• Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
