Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -138 <br />APPROVING ISSUANCE OF NEW OFF -SALE LIQUOR AND TOBACCO <br />LICENSE FOR BROWNSTONE LIQUORS, INC. AT 709 APOLLO DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes met at its regularly <br />scheduled meeting on August 28, 2006, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council discussed approval of a new off -sale <br />liquor license and tobacco license for Brownstone Liquors, Inc., d /b /a MGM <br />Wines & Spirits to be located at 709 Apollo Drive, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Lino Lakes has conducted an <br />investigation of the applicants, and; <br />WHEREAS, Brownstone Liquors, Inc. is in compliance with City Code Section <br />701 concerning Liquor Licensing and Section 602 concerning Cigarette Sales, <br />and qualifies for said licenses and; <br />• WHEREAS, the applicant has provided proof of insurance as required and paid <br />the necessary fees; <br />• <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby approves a new off -sale liquor license and tobacco license for <br />Brownstone Liquors, Inc. subject to all the fees, provisions and conditions of the <br />laws of the city, state and of the federal government and the applicant will comply <br />with all said laws. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of August, 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />lianne Bart : II. r Clerk <br />;es' J ` n B n, Mayor <br />The motion for the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by.
