• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Membero'Donneil introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-146 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR 2006 -2010 AND CONFIRMING <br />INTENT TO ISSUE BONDS <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council a Municipal <br />Buildings and Facilities Capital Improvement Plan for 2006 -2010 for the City <br />prepared in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521; and, <br />WHEREAS, in preparing the Plan the City Council considered the factors <br />set forth in Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521, Subd. 3; and, <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly called and held on the Plan and the <br />City Council's intent to issue bonds for that part of the Plan consisting of the <br />acquisition of the City Hall and Police building portions of the Civic Center <br />Complex from the Lino Lakes Economic Development Authority pursuant to the <br />requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LINO LAKES THAT: <br />1. The Municipal Buildings and Facilities Capital Improvement Plan for <br />2006 -2010 is hereby approved. <br />2. The City Council's intent to issue bonds pursuant to the Plan is <br />hereby confirmed. The issuance of the bonds is subject to a <br />referendum if a petition meeting the requirements of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Section 475.521, Subd. 2 (c) requesting a vote on the <br />issuance is filed with the City Clerk within 30 days after the date <br />hereof. <br />Julia ne Bartell, Cit CI <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11th day of September, 2006. <br />-45b- <br />
