• <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />ACTION REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND <br />AGENDA ITEM 1Gi <br />Michael Grochala <br />November 27, 2006 <br />Resolution No. 06 -193, Approving Change Order No. <br />1, Legacy at Woods Edge Phase 2 — Streetlighting <br />Improvements <br />Simple Majority <br />On April 24, 2006 the City Council awarded the Legacy at Woods Edge Phase 2 — <br />Street lighting Improvements contract to W.H. Response. The current approved <br />contract amount is $483,135.84. <br />Change Order No. 1 is for the addition of five temporary lights installed along Town <br />Center Parkway. Installation of the permanent light fixtures was delayed due to <br />modifications of the final shop drawings for the "Blue Heron" emblem included with the <br />lights. Due to the opening of the roadway and the Country Inn and Suites temporary <br />lighting was required. The total for the change order is $3,065.00. The total revised <br />contract amount, with the change order, is $486,200.84. <br />The cost of the improvements were previously included in the City's financing package <br />and special assessments levied against the properties. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending the adoption of Resolution No. 06 -193, Approving Change Order <br />No.1 in the amount of $3,065.00. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
