• <br />WHEREAS, <br />RESOLUTION 81 -36 <br />pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of County <br />Road J from the intersection of Highway #49 West for 463 feet, bids <br />were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Randall Contracting, $24,664.50, De -Luxe Construction, Inc, $25,765.90, <br />Dawson Construction, Inc., $27,503.00, W 6 G Rehbein, Inc., $28,486.00, <br />Walhunt Construction, Inc., $38,051.00, Johnson Engineering, Inc., <br />$39,496.00, Widmer Bro., Inc., $40,582.00. <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Gerald 0. Randall of Randall Contracting, <br />Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $24,664.50, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into the attached contract with Gerald 0. Randall of Randall <br />Contracting, Inc. in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for <br />the improvement of County Road J by installing sewers according <br />to the plans and specification therefor approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, <br />except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been <br />signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council the 13th day of October, 1981 <br />Edna L.
