RESOLUTION 82 -1 41IRESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, provides for a program of Community Development Block Grant, and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has joined nineteen (19) other municipalities in order to qualify Anoka County as an Urban County, and this designation has entitled the City of Lino Lakes to re- ceive Community Development Block Grant Funds for 1981 and 1982, and WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council authorized the 1981 Community Development Block Grant Funds to be expended on the proposed Lake Drive Trunk Sewer Project, and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the proposed sewer project to date has not become a feasible project for Community Development Block Grant Funding, and such 1981 Community Development Block Grant Funds must be expended by the Community within the guidelines set out by Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, and 41/WHEREAS, the timing criteria for the disbursement of those 1981 funds will be difficult to comply with in approving and administering a new project, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Lino Lakes City Council hereby authorizes the City of Andover to use the Lino Lakes Community Development Block Grant allocation for 1981 with the understanding that Andover will reciprocate by designating a like amount of Community Development Block Grant Funds to the City of Lino Lakes to be expended on a project authorized by the City Council for completion in 1982. The exchange of Community Development Block Grant funds shall be administered by Anoka County. The Director of the program has approved this transaction.
