• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-q <br />A RESOLUTION ELECTING TO BE GOVERNED BY THE PROVISIONS OF <br />CHAPTER 564 OF THE LAWS OF 1982 RELATING TO THE CERTIFI- <br />CATION OF TRANSFERS OF CERTAIN UNPLATTED PROPERTIES <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 564 of the Laws of 1982 adopted by the Minnesota <br />State Legislature provides for the certification by a <br />municipality prior to the transfer by the County Auditor <br />of certain unplatted properties within the municipality; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Act provides a procedure by which the County and <br />participating municipalities can prohibit the filing of <br />illegal lot splits with the County; and, <br />WHEREAS, Subdivision 3 of said Chapter 564 provides that a municipality <br />may elect to be governed by said Chapter 564 by filing with <br />the County Auditor a certified copy of a resolution of the <br />governing body evidencing such decision; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes deems it in <br />the best interests of the City that the City elect to be <br />governed by said provisions. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councilof the City of <br />Lino Lakes that it hereby elects to be governed by the <br />provisions of Chapter 564 of the Laws of 1982. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be <br />filed with the County Auditor for Anoka County. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14thday of <br />�..c , 1982. <br />• <br />ATTEST: <br />d J‘e z 114- <br />Edna L.
