RESOLUTION #82 -11 <br />RAIICLUTION REQUESTING THE ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TO TRANSFER <br />STREET IN LINO LAKES TO THE COUNTY ROAD SYSTEM. <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />80th Street lira. in the Northeast corner of the City of Lino Lakes <br />of which it is bounded on the West by Anoka County State Aid Highway <br />#21 and on the East by Washington County State Aid Highway #6, and <br />80th Street runs the length of one (1) mile and links two county <br />highways which are classified as collector roadways, and <br />the standards of 80th Street do not meet the Health and safety <br />criteria set out for a Collector road, (i.e, width and tonnage),and <br />local staff has net with the Anoka County Engineer to review the <br />necessary steps that must be taken in order for the County to <br />transfer 80th Street into the County Road System, and <br />the City of Lino Lakes understands that certain issues must be <br />resolved such as the purchasing of additional right -of -way and <br />the upgrading of Bridge #L8158, and <br />the City Council would proceed on these issues once the Anoka <br />County Board of Commissioners indicated its intent concerning the <br />Council's request. <br />N,THEREFORE, be it Resolved that; <br />The Lino Lakes City Council hereby requests the assistance of the <br />Anoka County Board of Commissioners in order to transfer 80th Street <br />of Lino Lakes to the Anoka County Road Systelp. <br />This authorization would be contingent upon the requests as outlined <br />by the Anoka County Engineer and his staff. <br />Passed br the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this / day of Juneeiq$,,� <br />ATTEST: <br />Edna L.
