Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in the City of Lino <br />Lakes, the 9th day of May, 1983 at 7:00 P.M. <br />The following members were present; Benson, Elsenpeter, Kulaszewicz, Marier, Reinert. <br />Absent: None. <br />Council member Elsenpeter introduced and moved the adoption of the following <br />Resolution. <br />RESOLUTION #83 -14 <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 1982, Section 473.875 to 473.883 were devised and <br />adopted to preserve and use natural water storage and retention systems to dispose <br />of stormwater runoff; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 1982, Section 473.878 requires that watershed <br />management planning be conducted for all areas within the metropolitan area; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 1982, Section 473.877, Subd. 2, requires that before <br />planning can commence for any specific area, a map delineating watershed boundaries <br />shall be submitted to the Water Resources Board for review and comment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources is currently making revisions to <br />the watershed boundaries map for the Water Resources Board; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Shoreview, Roseville, North Oaks, Gem Lake, White Bear <br />Township, City of White Bear Lake, Lino Lakes, St. Paul Water Utility, and City of <br />Vadnais Heights, have worked together in delineating watershed boundaries for <br />watershed in Anoka County as depicted in the attached map; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached map represents the City <br />of Lino Lakes position on watershed boundaries for portions of Anoka County; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the attached map be forwarded to the Department <br />of Natural Resources in preparation of the metropolitan watershed boundaries map. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />member Kulaszewicz; and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof; Benson, Elsenpeter, Kulaszewicz, Marier, Reinert. <br />And the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 9th day <br />of May, 1983. <br />Benjamin G.
