• <br />• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83 -17 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION FOR THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES TO ALLOCATE ITS 1.983 "JOBS BILL" <br />SUPPLEMENTAL CDBG FUNDS FOR ITS SENIOR CENTER <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County will be receiving supplemental 1983 CDBG <br />funding as a result of Federal Legislation, and <br />WHEREAS, such legislation specifies the same rules and regulations <br />as required for the CDBG program, and <br />WHEREAS, the CDBG formula for fund allocation would appropriate <br />$12,434.00 for the City of Lino Lakes, and <br />WHEREAS, in addition to such regulations, an emphasis has been <br />placed on job creation. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />That, the Lino Lakes City Council requests that its <br />1983 supplemental CDBG allocation be designated for <br />the proposed Senior Citizens Center. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br />That, the intent of the above referenced legislation <br />will be complied with and such application of CDBG <br />funds are consistent with Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment standards. <br />Passed by the City Council this 9th day of May, <br />Air <br />Ben] . in -"son, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Edna L.
