• <br />• <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #84 -2 <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE CREATION OF A TRI -CITY FIRE DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, on January 14, 1984, the Fire Study Committee <br />met with elected officials from Centerville, <br />Circle Pines and Lino Lakes to discuss the future <br />of the Fire District, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />one purpose of the meeting was to receive input <br />concerning the draft joint powers agreement and <br />the future direction of such. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that: <br />1. The Lino Lakes City Council hereby supports <br />and wholeheartedly endorses the concept and <br />creation of a Fire District between the Cities <br />of Centerville, Circle Pines and Lino Lakes. <br />2. The Lino Lakes City Council understands that <br />the proposed joint powers agreement is only <br />a draft and the areas of voting powers,initial <br />contribution,and financial formulas must still <br />be refined in order to make the District <br />acceptable to all communities involved. <br />hji <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this �3 day <br />1984. <br />Edna L.
