y <br />• ono <br />akes <br />• <br />RESOLUTION # 84 -8 <br />RESOLUTION NOMINATING LINO LAKES CITIZEN AL ROSS AS METROPOLITAN <br />COUNCIL "REGIONAL CITIZEN OF THE YEAR. <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />Al Ross has been a resident of Lino Lakes for 33 years, and <br />Al served for many years as a Lino Lakes council member <br />and mayor, and <br />Al also served as an Anoka County Commissioner, and <br />In these capacities, Al worked tirelessly to serve his <br />constituents and nurture the development of Anoka County <br />and Lino Lakes, and <br />Through his efforts, Al made significant contribution to <br />the quality of life in Anoka County and Lino Lakes, and <br />Al continues his public service in a variety of metropolitan <br />groups including the Metropolitan Transportation Advisory <br />Board and Policy Board and the MTC Crime Control Board, and <br />Al also continues to serve the public interest through <br />affiliations with many civic, church, labor and county <br />groups. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes City Council <br />endorse by acclamation, the nomination of Al Ross as the Metropolitan <br />Council Regional Citizen of the Year. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this <br />,i <br />ATTEST: <br />1 <br />Edna L.
