• <br />• <br />• <br />RESOLUTION # 84 -32 <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING FOR A <br />SENIOR CENTER PUBLIC SERVICE PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City of Lino Lakes has allocated past Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the construction of <br />senior center kitchen facility; and <br />The Lino Lakes City Council has strongly supported the <br />the needs and programs for it's senior citizens within the <br />community; and <br />in order to obtain maximum benefit from the newly <br />constructed Lino Lakes Senior Center, the seniors <br />have proposed a public service project, in the form <br />of organizational costs, for the center. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br />that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby authorizes <br />the following Public Service Project be supported <br />through Community Development Block Grant Funding for <br />one year as outlined: <br />Salaries $3,380 <br />Benefits $237 <br />Operating <br />Costs $1,000 <br />Capital <br />Outlay <br />Misc. <br />Total <br />$2,500 <br />$250 <br />$7,367 <br />One coordinator, 8 to 10 hours per week <br />at $6.50 per hour. <br />Social Security <br />office supplies <br />telephone <br />postage <br />printing <br />advertising <br />8 long tables, 10 card tables <br />double file cabinet <br />bulletin board <br />portable P.A. system <br />games <br />kitchen equipment <br />
