• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution No. 21 - 86 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ANOKA AND RAMSEY COUNTIES TO PROGRAM THE <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF COUNTY ROAD J (ASH STREET) BY 1988. <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />The structural condition of County Road J (Ash Street) <br />east of Lexington Avenue continues to deteriorate; and <br />County Road J (Ash Street) was closed due to flooding <br />and poor storm drainage in May, 1986; and <br />County Road J (Ash Street) between Interstate 35W and <br />Lexington Avenue is scheduled for upgrading in 1987; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, The existing road accommodates average daily traffic <br />volumes of 3,300; and increasing annually to anticipated <br />minimum of 8,000 by 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, County Road J (Ash Street) serves as an important traffic <br />link to the residents and businesses of our City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br />of Lino Lakes urges the Counties of Anoka and Ramsey to fund and <br />schedule the reconstruction of County Road J (Ash Street), Lex- <br />ington Avenue to Hodgson Road (Highway'',49),by 1988. <br />FURTHERMORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this resolution be submitted <br />to the Counties of Anoka and Ramsey in conjunction with the <br />Cities of Blaine, Shoreview and Circle Pines. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes, this 28th day of July, <br />1986. <br />enjamin(G.
