Council Member O' Donnell • its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA RESOLUTION NO. 12 -18 APPROVING CHAIN OF LAKES ROTARY CLUB APPLICATION FOR A 1 TO 4 DAY TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 340A, allows the city council to consider a temporary on -sale liquor license to a non - profit organization in connection with a social event sponsored by the licensee and held within the city limits; and WHEREAS, the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club has submitted an application to hold a fundraising event at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street, on March 10, 2012; and WHEREAS, the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club has paid the required fee; and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted a background check on the applicant; and WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires the application be approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council before being submitted for approval to the Liquor Control Board; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves the request of the Chain of Lakes Rotary Club for a temporary on -sale liquor license. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: O'Donnell, Roeser, Rafferty, Stoesz, Reinert The following voted against same: none Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
