• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12 -39 <br />APPROVING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FOR THE LINO LAKES YMCA <br />FARMERS MARKET <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director the Lino Lakes YMCA has submitted an application <br />for a special event permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the YMCA wishes to establish a farmers market to be located at the City's <br />Village Green Park, near the YMCA facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the farmers market would be held every Thursday from July 12 and <br />September 27, 2012 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, the YMCA has submitted detailed plans to set up and operate a farmers <br />market, including adequate parking plans; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the special event plans and have determined that <br />they meet the requirements of the city's ordinances; <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the issuance of a Special Event Permit to the Lino Lakes <br />YMCA for Farmers Market to be held Thursdays, from July 12 through September 27, 2012. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 29th day of May, 2012. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Roeser and was duly seconded by Council Member Raf ter ty and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Roeser, Rafferty, O'Donnell, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Jeff Reinert, ayor <br />
