COUNCIL MINUTES September 8, 2014 <br />APPROVED <br />1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />2 MINUTES <br />3 <br />4 DATE : September 8, 2014 <br />5 TIME STARTED : 6:35 p.m. <br />6 TIME ENDED : 7:55 p.m. <br />7 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Member Stoesz, Kusterman, Rafferty, <br />8 Roeser, and Mayor Reinert <br />9 MEMBERS ABSENT : none <br />10 <br />11 Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Community Development Director Michael <br />12 Grochala; Public Safety Director John Swenson; Public Safety Director Al Rolek; and City Clerk <br />13 Julie Bartell <br />14 <br />15 PUBLIC COMMENT <br />16 <br />17 No one was present to address the council regarding a matter not on the agenda. <br />18 <br />19 SETTING THE AGENDA <br />20 <br />21 The agenda was approved as presented. <br />22 <br />23 SPECIAL CEREMONY <br />24 <br />25 Mayor Reinert administered the Oath of Police Service to newly hired Lino Lakes Police Officer <br />26 Kristin Wills. <br />27 <br />28 Public Safety Director Swenson recognized the promotion of Officer Chad Schirmers to the position <br />29 of Police Sergeant. <br />30 <br />31 SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />32 <br />33 Mayor Reinert read a Proclamation declaring the week of September 17 through September 23, 2014 <br />34 as Constitution Week in the City of Lino Lakes. Daughters of the American Revolution member and <br />35 Lino Lakes' resident Gail Lossing was present to receive the Proclamation and offer thanks to the <br />36 council. <br />37 <br />38 CONSENT AGENDA <br />39 <br />40 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1 A through 1E, as presented. <br />41 Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion.
