• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 12 -85 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />CITY OF HUGO FOR SHARING OF BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.59, authorizes political subdivisions to <br />enter into Joint Powers Agreements, and <br />WHEREAS, the Cities of Lino Lakes and Hugo desire to provide mutual assistance and - <br />cooperati-on in furnishing building inspection services, and <br />WHEREAS, the agreement will enable the parties to submit building inspectors to a <br />general pool to be administered by the City of Hugo in order to allow the participating <br />cities and other cities to utilize inspectors from that pool to perform building inspections <br />when and as needed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Hereby approves the amended Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Hugo and <br />• authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the Agreement. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of August, 2012. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council <br />Member Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Stoesz, Roeser, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Juli., e Bartell, Ci <br />Jeff Reine , Mayor <br />
