• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13 -23 <br />LOCAL APPROVAL OF A LAWFUL GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT <br />FOR THE CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL BOOSTERS CLUB <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council has received a request from the Centennial High <br />School Football Boosters Club for a lawful gambling premises permit to conduct gambling (pull <br />tabs, tip board, paddlewheel, electronic pull -tabs and occasional bingo) at American Legion Post <br />566; and <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires the City of Lino Lakes to submit <br />a resolution to the City Council approving the premises permit application; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has conducted the required background investigation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial High School Football Boosters Club is in compliance with Chapter <br />611 of the Lino Lakes City Code relating to Lawful Gambling; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby approves the request of the Centennial High School Football Boosters Club for a Premise <br />Permit for Charitable Gambling at the American legion Post 566. <br />• Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 22nd day of July, 2013. <br />• <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />r` and was duly seconded by Council Member Cam e s z and upon vote being <br />taken the eon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />, b Dv� -,.�e �-f e s K 54.e s) <br />The following voted against same: <br />u 'anne Bartell, C. y C er <br />Jeff Reine <br />yor <br />
