• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13-28 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, OTTER LAKE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Otter Lake Road <br />Improvement Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor <br />Arnt Construction Company, Inc. <br />Burschville Construction, Inc. <br />Omann Brothers, Inc. <br />Kuechle Underground <br />Frattalone Companies, Inc. <br />Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC <br />T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />Dresel Contracting, Inc. <br />Northwest Asphalt, Inc. <br />Midwest Civil Constructors, LLC <br />Engineer's Estimate <br />Amount of bid <br />$326,366.20 <br />$340,906.20 <br />$369,791.89 <br />$375,560.65 <br />$378,650.40 <br />$385,339.08 <br />$386,947.15 <br />$396,652.75 <br />$398,836.50 <br />$403,894.87 <br />$429,902.75 <br />$411,057.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Arnt Construction Company, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Arnt <br />Construct Company Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the <br />Otter Lake Road Improvement Project according to the plans and specifications approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid <br />Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />
