• <br />• <br />TWIN CI`IIES <br />GATEWAY <br />Lino Lakes 2013 Member City Marketing Grant Agreement <br />This Agreement between the City of Lino Lakes, 600 Town Center Parkway, Lino Lakes, MN <br />55014, hereinafter "the City," and Twin Cities Gateway, a Minnesota non - profit corporation, <br />10801 Town Square Drive, Blaine, MN 55449, hereinafter "the Bureau," contains the terms and <br />conditions for a 2013 grant to the City in the amount of $6,381 from the Bureau to the City. <br />Whereas the grant funding provided is based on local option lodging taxes collected by the City <br />and the eight other member cities of the Bureau and <br />Whereas the City agrees to expend the grant funding in compliance with MN Statute 469.10 <br />which states that gross proceeds from any tax imposed shall be used for the purpose of <br />marketing and promoting the City as a tourist or convention center and <br />Whereas the Bureau has specified that grant funds must be used for advertising, marketing, <br />and promotional efforts to increase participation, attendance, or visitation to an event, activity, <br />or facility located within the City, and / or to add new activities to enhance existing events, and <br />Whereas the Bureau specifieshat advertising, marketing, and promotional efforts for which <br />said grant funding is used must extend beyond the borders, or boundaries of the City and <br />Whereas it is agreed that prior to December 31, 2013, the City will provide an overview of how <br />the Bureau grant funding was utilized, as well as provide copies of actual receipts or invoices to <br />document the related expenses for the advertising, marketing or promotional efforts and <br />Now by execution of this Agreement, the City and the Bureau agree to and approve the terms <br />By: <br />City of Lino Lakes By: Steve Markuson / Twin Cities Gateway <br />Signature Signature <br />Date: Date: <br />c4-1o4-1 13 <br />
