CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13 -62 <br />APPROVING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FOR THE LINO LAKES YMCA <br />FARMERS MARKET <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director the Lino Lakes YMCA has submitted an application <br />for a special event permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the YMCA wishes to establish a farmers market to be located at the City's <br />Village Green Park, near the YMCA facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the farmers market would be held every Thursday from June 20 to <br />September 12, 2013 except the week of July 4, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the YMCA has submitted detailed plans to set up and operate a farmers <br />market, including adequate parking plans; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the special event plans and have determined that <br />they meet the requirements of the City's ordinances; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the issuance of a Special Event Permit to the Lino Lakes <br />YMCA for Farmers Market to be held Thursdays, from June 20 through September 12, 2013 <br />except for the week of July 4. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of May, 2013. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Roeser and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon vote <br />being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Roeser, Rafferty, 0 Donnell, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Ju ie Bartell, City Clerk <br />Jeff Reine a .r <br />
