CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13 -116 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING <br />CONTRACT FOR SALT STORAGE BUILDING <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes solicited bids for the construction of a Salt Shed Storage <br />Building located at the Lino Lakes Public Works Facility and, <br />WHEREAS, bids were opened on October 7th for the construction of the concrete footings and <br />foundation piers, 8' high concrete bunker panels, as well as the installation of a 65' x 64' <br />natural light fabric structure and, <br />WHEREAS, two bids were received as follows: <br />Greystone Construction <br />Four Winds Builders <br />$98,305.00 <br />$107,886.25 <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County has utilized Greystone Construction for several of their other salt <br />shed storage buildings and is very satisfied with the quality of work. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />1. That the City Council hereby accepts the bids and awards the contract to Greystone <br />Construction and authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the contract on behalf <br />of the City. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28 day ofoct , 2013 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />O' Donnell and was duly seconded by Council Member Roeser <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />O'Donnell, Roeser, Rafferty, Stoesz, <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Jul . nne Bartell, Ci y Clerk <br />Jeff Reine <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
