• Council Member Carlson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -07 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH LMC TO <br />PARTICIPATE IN THE MINNESOTA CITIES STORMWATER COALITION (MCSC). <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes operates a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer <br />System and is regulated by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Phase <br />II program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has previously participated with other municipalities, under the <br />direction of the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC), to formulate a NPDES Guide Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the LMC, on behalf of participating cities, has agreed to sponsor a new fee <br />based Minnesota Cities Stormwater Coalition (MCSC) to support cities and their <br />stormwater professional in program implementation, and in continuing to have a clear <br />unified, and effective voice with the MPCA an other regulatory agencies. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. that the agreement with the League of Minnesota Cities to participate in the <br />Minnesota Cities Stormwater Coalition is hereby approved. <br />2. that the Council authorizes staff to execute the necessary agreements on behalf of <br />the City. <br />Joh J.
