• <br />• <br />Council Membero'Donnellntroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07 -44 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />LAKE DRIVE /I35W INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENTS <br />STATE PROJECT NO. 0280 -55 <br />STATE AID PROJECT NO. 02- 623 -13 & 210 - 020 -04 <br />C.S.A.H. 23 (LAKE DRIVE) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the council on July 25, 2005, SEH Inc., <br />has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of the Lake Drive /I35W <br />Interchange; and <br />WHEREAS, plans for Project No. SP 0280 -55 and S.A.P. 02- 623 -13 & 210 - 020 -04 <br />showing proposed alignment, profiles, grades and cross - sections for the construction, <br />reconstruction or improvement of County State -Aid Highway No. 23 and the westerly <br />extension of Town Center Parkway within the limits of the City as a State Aid Project have <br />been prepared and presented to the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made part <br />hereof, are hereby approved. <br />2. The City clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the <br />Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids for the making of such improvement <br />under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be <br />published for 3 weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be <br />received by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at which time <br />they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Clerk and Engineer, will then <br />be tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April <br />23, 2007, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. Any bidder whose responsibility <br />is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address <br />the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed <br />and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid <br />bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five (5) percent of the amount of <br />such bid. <br />John J.
