Council Member Reinert moved for the adoption of the following resolution: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-45 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 01-07 FOR <br />PUBLICATION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 01 -07, amending the sign ordinance, on <br />March 12, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 01 -07 is lengthy and MN statute 412.191 provides for a city to <br />publish a summary of an ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of the <br />intent and effect of the ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed <br />copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council approves the summary in <br />Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. <br />• <br />Attest: <br />u i. ne Bartell, City Cler <br />J. Be "ges . n, Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of March , 2007. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />S-1 ,- 7 and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Reinert, Stoltz, Carlson, O'Donnell, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />• <br />
